Gus Ellison worked for almost two decades as a financial services executive. In that capacity, he provided overall client relationship management for a range of firms including banks, registered investment advisors, and other wealth management platforms. He developed operational efficiencies and systems initiatives while participating in the functional design of proprietary software including performance reporting systems and monitoring tools. He was responsible for the strategic planning of new initiatives and product enhancements in target markets and also leading client projects within a team and across functional groups.

Gus is an elite amateur triathlete and runner participating at all distances. He has participated in ten Ironman triathlons including the World Championship in Hawaii. He is an Ironman All World Athlete, a USAT All-American, an Ironman 70.3 World Championship qualifier, and a USAT Nationals qualifier. He typically is on the podium overall at local races and in his age group in national races. He has also run 10+ marathons with a 2:56 personal record.

He graduated with a B.A. in Economics from Trinity College in Hartford, CT.
